Casino-themed social events
Obsidian Alcove hosts in-person casino-themed events with blackjack, roulette and poker-style tables, croupiers and décor.
Who can take part
Our casino-themed programmes are for guests aged 18 and over. This participation rule applies to casino activities; other formats have the audience arrangements shown on their event pages.
At events combining several formats, we agree how to separate and manage the adult casino area with the organiser.
Chips, points and results
We supply symbolic chips and points as props. Guests cannot buy or top them up, and they cannot be exchanged for cash, goods, vouchers or other valuable prizes.
Money and other valuables cannot be wagered. There are no cash winnings or participant-funded prize pools. We may keep team scores and acknowledge participation, but do not award valuable prizes. The package price covers planning, equipment, décor and the event team.
Choosing whether to participate
The host and croupiers explain the activities. Guests can join a table, watch or use the social seating area; participation is voluntary.
For a different activity, browse the quizzes, team challenges and other formats in our event catalogue.
Before the event
Tell us about participation needs during planning so we can adjust introductions, table rotations and seating.
